In 2007, I obtained my masters degrees in Criminology and Psychology at VU University Amsterdam. In my early post-graduate years, I worked as a research assistant in mental health care. During my clinical psychologist education, I conducted effectiveness research
on an intervention for children with aggression problems. This research was published in the Journal of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Now I work as a clinical psychologist-psychotherapist within the mental health care. In 2022, I founded a mental health care
institution (YouSense) in Aalsmeer. In addition to my management tasks and client care, I have special interest in engaging in scientific research about higly gifted people.
